Butter swim biscuits

 



INGREDIENTS: 6 PERS.


250g of flour

125 g caster sugar

125 g softened unsalted butter

1 egg white

a little skimmed milk

1 pinch of salt


PREPARATION:


Preheat the oven to 180ÂșC.

Pour the flour into a bowll.

Dig a well in the centter and add the softened butter, powdered sugar, egg white and a pinch of salt. Vigorously knead the dough with a wooden spoonful for several minutes.

Cover the salad bowl with cling film. Let the preparatiion rest for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

At the end of this time, take the salad bowl out of the refrigerator and remove the cling film.

Place a sheet of bakiing paper on a baking sheet.

Knead the dough again and pllace it on a floured work surface. Roll it out to a thiickness of 1 cm using a rolling pin.

Cut the dough into circlles using a small glass. Place the dough rings on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brown the round dough with a little skimmed milk, using a brush.

Bake and cook for 20 minutes until the cookies are lightly golden.

Leave the cookies to cool on a rack out of the oven.

Store cookies in an airtiight container until tasting.

Enjoy these cookies to accompany coffee.
