Cucumber Salad

 



* INGREDIENTS: 4 PERS.


° 2 cucumbers

° 300 g of Greek yogurt

° 1 clove of garlic

° the juice of a lemon

° 3 tbsp. tablespoon olive oil

° 1 C. tablespoon of vinegar

° 5 sprigs of dill

° coarse salt, freshly ground pepper

Peel the cucumbers, remove the seeds and cut them into thin, even slices. Then arrange them in a dish (a gratin dish is perfect to be able to spread out all the cucumber slices), sprinkle them with coarse salt and stir gently. Let the cucumbers drain for about 15 minutes, then run them under clear water to remove the salt. Finally, pat them dry with a clean cloth or absorbent paper.

Pour the yogurt into a salad bowl. Add the crushed garlic clove, then add the olive oil, lemon juice and vinegar. Salt, pepper and mix. Add the cucumber slices and the delicately chopped dill to the preparation. Mix everything again so that the sauce envelops the cucumber well.
