For this Normandy potato recipe, you can wait an hour for preparation.


*Ingredients: 4 people.


°1 kg of potatoes

°250 grams onion

°250 grams leeks

°1/2 liter of milk

°grated nutmeg

°salt pepper


*Preparation:


1.

Butter a deep dish and oven safe.


2.

Cut the potatoes into slices. Cut the onions into rings.


3.

Lay a layer of potatoes, add a layer of onions, and put on top of it julienne of finely chopped shallots. Salt, pepper and nutmeg.


4.

Make 2 or 3 layers up to 2/3 of the plate.


5.

It is preferable to cover it with whole milk, and it is preferable to put it in the oven, watching the cooking (not seeing the milk boiling and overflowing ...).


6.

It is possible, at the end of cooking, to cover the grated cheese.
