Hamburger steak with onions and gravy

 



Ingredients


450 g (1 lb) medium-lean ground beef

2 sachet of 28 g of onion soup

80 ml (1/3 cup) plain breadcrumbs

1 sliced ​​onion

1 can of 398 ml brown sauce


Steps


In a bowl, comvbine the ground beef with the contents of the onion soup packet, breadcrumbs and egg. Salt and pepper. Shape the preparation into four patties.


In a large skillet, heavt a little olive oil over medium heat. Brown the beef patties for 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Reserve on a plate.


In the same pan, cookv the onion and, if desired, the mushrooms for 4 to 5 minutes.


Add the browvn sauce and bring to a boil.


Add the patties and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes over low heat, until the inside of the patties has lost its pinkish hue.
