* Ingredients


° 400gm shortbread

° 250 g pecan kernels

° 3 eggs

° 125 gm brown sugar

° 2 dl of maple syrup or honey

° 50gm soft butter

° 1 tsp. vanilla powder


For mould: 1 butter knob.


* Steps


1/ Roll out the dough on the work surface.

A pie dish with a diameter of 26 cm, butter and decorate with dough.

Prick the dough with a few strokes of a fork without piercing it.

Place the pan in the refrigerator and let the dough harden while you prepare the filling.


2 / Turn on the oven thermostat 5 (175 degrees).

Prepare the garnish: put the butter in a bowl, add the sugar and beat for 1 minute with a hand mixer, until the preparation turns white.

Add the maple syrup, vanilla, and eggs—one at a time—without stopping to whisk. Add the pecans and mix with a spoon.


3 / Remove the mold from the cold and decorate the dough with the pecan mixture.

Smooth the surface with a spatula.

Insert the mold into the hot oven and cook for 50 minutes.


4/ When the tart is cooked, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before unrolling.

Serve the pie warm or cold.
