Texas Sheet Cake

 



Very easy to make Texas Cheet Cake! This is one of my favorite cake recipes, rich in chocolate and baked in just 20 minutes.


* Ingredients


° 2 cups all-purpose flour

°2 cups of sugar

°1/4 teaspoon salt

°4 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder

°1 cup butter

°1 cup water

°1/2 cup of milk

°2 eggs

°1 teaspoon baking soda

°1 teaspoon vanilla extract

+icing:


°1/2 cup butter

°4 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder

°6 tablespoons of milk

°1 teaspoon vanilla extract

°3 cups powdered sugar

°3/4 cup pecans (chopped)

Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a baking tray with non-stick cooking spray.


Mix flour, sugar and salt. Book for later.


In a saucepan, melt the butter with the unsweetened cocoa powder, and when it melts, add the water, bring to a boil, and then remove from the heat.


Add the melted butter mixture to the flour mixture and mix until combined.


In a bowl, whisk together the curd, eggs, baking soda, and vanilla. Then add the other mixture and mix them together. Add it to the baking tray and cook for 20 minutes or until fully cooked.


icing:


Melt the butter and whisk the milk with the unsweetened cocoa powder. Bring the mixture to a boil, then remove it from the heat. Add vanilla lotion.


Add powdered sugar and mix until well combined. Add chopped pecans last.


Pour over hot cake and leave to cool before serving.
